Don't miss my site for hand signed original silver gelatin photographs -> timdardis.com
I have been looking through a viewfinder for a very long time. (The other side of the camera scares the daylights out of me!) After a few years mentorship with an accomplished civilian & military photographer I went "pro" in 1974 upon graduating from the United States Naval Schools of Photography. I have been honing my craft ever since. I have exposed and hand processed tens of thousands of film frames, printed many thousands of B&W and color prints the old fashioned way... in the "soup". About 10-15 years ago I took my photography to another level and started to create mixed media originals in vibrant colors from my photos. I did art shows for many years (photos above) but I had to give that up in 2017. I hope you love what I make. I have been married over 42 years (to the same woman!) I have two grown daughters, 6 grandchildren and a bratty little dog that runs the entire family.
